Valentine's Day Aprons

These are a few of the Valentine's Day aprons I have made this week. I love the sugar cookie heart fabric! It looks so yummy! I also made my first applique for the pocket of the sugar cookie apron. It's not too shabby for a first try if I do say so myself. :) The bottom apron has a gold script that says things such as "Valentines," "Heart," and "Love." It also features a new pocket design. It is similar to what you would find on a sweatshirt...one large pocket with openings for your hands on each side. I am sure there is probably a name for this type of pocket, but I'm really not sure.

Pink Cupcakes

I made these two aprons for a sweet friend. She is becoming quite the domestic diva mixed in with just the right amount of sass and a yummy pink cupcake apron is just what she needed! She will soon be baking up a storm in this delicious apron from The Apron Diva!

Valentine and St. Paddy's Aprons coming soon!

I have some adorable fabric for Valentine's Day and St. Patrick's Day! I cannot wait to make these aprons and post them! For Valentine's Day there is a cute half apron with red polka dots and ruffles. There is also some yummy looking heart shaped sugar cookie designed fabric! For St. Patrick's Day I have about four different fabrics! They are going to be so cute!! Maybe it's because I am a March baby and have a teensy bit of Irish blood (and the Irish temperament), but I love St. Patrick's Day (and St. Patrick supposedly wards off snakes if you are Catholic and I am terrified of snakes!). :)

Cupcakes for twins!

I just finished these two adorable glittery cupcake aprons for two little twin girls. You can't really see the glitter that well, but it has silver glitter to the fabric. :)

Cupcakes, Kids, and Shopping!

One of the local JoAnn's fabric stores is closing (Publix bought the whole shopping center and is evicting them so that they can expand) and I got 10 patterns for various things including aprons. All of their patterns (except Vogue) were $1.99!! I don't usually use patterns...I tend to buy them and then just make it my own anyhow. They are never just right for me. :) I got some books on knitting and crocheting too. I am attempting to learn how to knit and crochet. I really want to learn how to knit because there are so many cute things that you can make. I don't have children and probably don't want any, but I just love all the cute little hats and blankets you can make them so I can make them for all of my friend's kids. :)

I am also in the process of finishing two adorable glittery cupcake aprons for two adorable little twin girls who are in kindergarten and love to bake! I made their mommy an apron for her birthday and they love it and always make sure she remembers to wear it when cooking and baking. Now they will each have their own yummy little cupcake apron!! I will post pictures when I finish them. I just have to attach the straps. I am using grosgrain ribbon for the straps because it is so hard to make little fabric straps on these tiny little aprons. I bet little half aprons for little girls would be absolutely adorable!! I'll have to try one soon!!
